About the Contributors
Conley Winn, Staff Writer
I am a sophomore at Garden Plain High School and this is my first year in Renwick Review. I play football and track and I spend most of my time at practice. I appreciate how connected the district of Renwick really is. Renwick is always good about having some sort of community event going on to bring everyone together. Somebody who inspires me is Michael Jordan. My favorite quote from him is, “I’ve failed over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.”
Erin Smith, Staff Writer
This is my first year with Renwick Review. I have been involved in many different sports including; 3 years of volleyball and dance, 2 years of basketball, and 1 year of track. I have also been in an assortment of clubs like KAY, SADD, CYM, and Class Officer. I am excited to write about our amazing sports teams and to produce hype videos.
Todd Hillman, Staff Writer
This is my first year in Renwick Review, I am currently a sophomore at Garden Plain High School and a 3-sport athlete. I am excited to write, interview, and cover Garden Plain athletics. I look up to Cliffe Knetchel because he inspires me to be a better person and grow in my faith.
Hailey Brack, Staff Writer
Hailey Brack is a junior at GPHS and is a committed athlete. Along with participating in sports, she stays involved by being a member of SADD, a class officer, a KAY Club officer, and the Vice President of STUCO. Hailey enjoys being involved in the school, but she also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going on vacations. She is known for her friendly and outgoing personality and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is a part of the Digital Media Design class and is looking forward to showcasing the students and teachers of GPHS.
Abbigail Peters, Staff Writer
This is my first year being a part of Renwick Review. I’m currently a sophomore at Garden Plain High School. I’m on the GPHS cheer team. I’m so excited for this opportunity, and can’t wait to cover everything that is going on in Garden Plain. I appreciate how close and supportive the Renwick district is.
Kaiden Fisher, Staff Writer
I am a sophomore at Garden Plain High School. This is my first year as a writer for Renwick Review. I am a two sport athlete (football and baseball). I look up to Pete McGregor because he is an amazing role model and a really good person. I am excited to write stories about this upcoming baseball season. One think I really like about Renwick is how close everyone is and how nice they are.
Aly Scheer, Staff Writer
This is my first year of writing for Renwick Review. I am looking forward to covering a variety of things but mainly the GP dance team. I participate in volleyball, track, basketball, and dance. I am also in KAY, SADD, CYM, and STUCCO. One thing that I admire about Renwick is how involved everybody is.
